Recently, Qingjie Zhang, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the president of Wuhan University of Technology, invited Hong Mei, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor from Peking University, as the Honorary Chair of the 31st International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering conference (ISSRE 2020). The invitation letter to Hong Mei is submitted by Dean of the school of computer science and technology, Prof. Shengwu Xiong (ISSRE 2020 Local Chair) and Prof. Jianwen Xiang (ISSRE 2020 General Chair) in Beijing, on December 25, 2019.
The 31st International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering will be held in Wuhan from October 28 to 31, 2020. The conference is hosted by Wuhan University of Technology, the Fifth Institute of Electronics of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chinese Computer Federation (CCF) System software professional committee and other co-organizers. The purpose of this conference is to vigorously promote scientific research and industrial development in the field of software reliability engineering, exploring new scientific ideas, reflecting on practical experience, and providing new evidence for established research directions. ISSRE is an authoritative international conference in the field of software engineering and software reliability engineering, focusing on innovative technologies and tools for assessing, predicting, and improving the reliability, security, and safety of software products. ISSRE is held for the first time in mainland China in more than 30 years.
